After been sending CVs since September, the quest for the intership finishes.

The process of applying to companies went well in some cases, not too well in others (as it should be normal I think) and I ended up turning down on companies like HP for example.

As it says on BitRock’s website, “Bitrock aims to make software easier to use and deploy with a focus on Linux and open source.”

I first knew BitRock from the Spanish version of Linux Magazine more than one year ago but, I don’t know why, I kept remembering the name. I am pretty excited to go work for the company and I will, of course, do the best I can.

Just a thought: If Google employees are Googlers, BitRock’s are BitRockers or BitRockStars! I prefer the latter.

So, since February I’ll be in Seville, the land of flamenco, heat and tapas.

One more thing, my last name is Rocha which translates from Portuguese as Rock…
